Joint Meeting Between Khartoum Health and SAPA to Enhance Health Services

Director General of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State and the Acting Minister, Dr. Mahmoud El-Badri, praised the great efforts made by the Sudanese Physicians Association in the United States (SAPA) in supporting and developing the health sector in the state, stressing the importance of partnerships with organizations working in the health field to advance the services provided to citizens. This came during the joint meeting held between the Ministry of Health of Khartoum State and SAPA, in the presence of Dr. Awad Al-Kamel, Director General of Khartoum Bahri Hospital, and Dr. Huda Hamed, Director General of Ahmed Qasim Hospital.
On behalf of SAPA, the meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abu Manqa, Regional Director of SAPA; Dr. Faisal Ahmed Al-Noor, Country Director; Dr. Faisal Suleiman, Director of Projects and Programs; and Dr. Ibrahim Osman, Director of Partnerships and External Relations.
Dr. Faisal Ahmed Al-Nour, Country Director of SAPA, reviewed all the projects and interventions implemented by SABA in the health sector in Khartoum State, in addition to the future plans and programs that the organization intends to implement in the coming period, in order to contribute to enhancing health services and improving the quality of care provided to citizens.
The meeting stressed the importance of joint coordination and integration of efforts between the Ministry and the organization to ensure the sustainability of health projects and achieve the desired positive impact in the various health facilities in the state.
