Violent clashes between the militia and Al-Nur al-Qubba

Violent clashes erupted between the Rapid Support Forces militia and the defected commander, Al-Nur al-Qubba, in the desert of North Darfur State on Thursday.

According to Darfur 24 sources, the clashes are still ongoing, and the size of the forces participating alongside the defector, Al-Nur al-Qubba, is unknown.

Reports surfaced a few days ago about efforts led by Hemedti to persuade al-Qubba to reconsider his decision to join the Sudanese army. It is expected that these efforts have failed, leading both sides to resort to military confrontation.
