Al-Burhan briefed on the results of the Sudanese delegation’s participation in the UN meetings

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, was briefed on the results of the Sudanese delegation’s participation in the recent UN General Assembly meetings in New York.

This came during his meeting today in his office with Dr. Kamil Idris Al-Tayeb, Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister provided a detailed briefing to the Head of the Sovereignty Council on the consultations and meetings the delegation held with a number of heads of delegations of states and governments participating in the UN General Assembly meetings, which achieved positive results in strengthening Sudan’s foreign relations and enhancing areas of joint cooperation.

The delegation also utilized the UN platform to explain the reality of the situation in Sudan against the backdrop of the rebellion led by the terrorist Rapid Support Forces militia against the state and its institutions, a matter which was clearly understood by many of the participating countries.
