PM Meets Delegation from the Egyptian-Sudanese Company in Cairo to Discuss Strengthening Economic Cooperation

Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met today in Cairo with a delegation from the Egyptian-Sudanese Company, the former sponsor of the Sudanese-Egyptian Businessmen Forum, as part of strengthening economic relations between Sudan and Egypt.
The meeting addressed ways to develop joint cooperation in the fields of investment and trade, in addition to discussing opportunities to implement strategic projects that benefit both countries.
The meeting was attended by the Sudanese Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Mr. Khaled Al-Eiser; the Sudanese Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ambassador Emad Adawi; the CEO of the Egyptian-Sudanese Company, Nasr El-Din Hassan; and the Director of the Business Development Sector, Munjed Ibrahim Youssef.
This meeting comes within the context of government efforts aimed at supporting economic partnerships with neighboring countries, especially the Arab Republic of Egypt, with which Sudan has close strategic and historical ties.
