Al-Burhan receives Director-General of the Police Forces

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with Lieutenant General (Police) Amir Abdel Moneim Fadl, Director-General of the Police Forces.

The Director-General of the Police Forces stated that the meeting addressed the overall security situation in the country and the efforts made to achieve security and stability.

He noted that he briefed the Head of the Sovereignty Council on the security measures and arrangements to maintain and extend security, impose the state’s authority, and uphold the rule of law in Khartoum State, following the relocation of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Forces to the state.

His Excellency affirmed the Police Forces’ commitment to extending the state’s authority, enhancing security, and creating a conducive environment for citizens to resume their normal lives.
