Al-Burhan Affirms Depth of Sudanese-Qatari Relations

Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, , affirmed the depth of Sudanese-Qatari relations, highlighting the historical ties that bind the two brotherly peoples.
This came during his farewell today to Sudan’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Ambassador Badr al-Din Abdullah Mohammed, in the presence of Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Youssef.

Ambassador Badr al-Din Abdullah said in a press statement that the Head of the Sovereignty Council affirmed Sudan’s keenness to develop and enhance its relations with the State of Qatar.
He indicated that the meeting also emphasized the importance of advancing relations between Khartoum and Doha to broader horizons, emphasizing the political will of the leaderships of both countries to develop areas of joint cooperation between Sudan and Qatar.
Ambassador Badr al-Din added that he listened to advice and guidance from the Head of the Sovereignty Council aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and addressing the issues of the Sudanese community in Qatar.
