Kabbashi Meets with Popular Resistance Committees in North, South, and West Kordofan States

Lieutenant General Shams El Din Kabashi, Member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, met yesterday in Al-Obied with the Popular Resistance Committees of North, South, and West Kordofan States. The meeting was attended by the Governors of North Kordofan, Abdul Khaliq Abdul Latif Wadaat Allah, and West Kordofan, Major General Mohamed Adam Jayed, and Lieutenant General Bashir Mekki Al-Bahi, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Popular Resistance.

Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Kabbashi praised the significant role played by the Popular Resistance Committees across the country, and Kordofan in particular, in supporting the Armed Forces in the Battle of Dignity and achieving victory on all fronts.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Armed Forces and all social components represented by the Popular Resistance Committees, to provide continued support to the Armed Forces, enabling them to fulfill their role in preserving Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity.
