Al-Burhan directs strengthen Sudan’s foreign relations

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st.Lt.Gen.Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, directed the necessity of strengthening and upgrading Sudan’s foreign relations and pushing joint cooperation to broader horizons, in a way that serves the country’s supreme interests.
This came during his farewell today to Sudan’s ambassadors to Senegal and Somalia, Ambassador Abdulghani Al-Naeem, and Ambassador Abdulrahman Khalil, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Ali Youssef.

Sudan’s Ambassador to Senegal, said in a press statement that we received from the Head of the Sovereignty Council directives and instructions related to ways to develop and strengthen relations between Sudan and African countries, and the importance of activating Sudan’s role in regional organizations in Africa and working to protect Sudan’s interests, national security and sovereignty, pointing to the ties, bonds, relations and supreme interests that bind Sudan to African countries.
“We thanked the Head of the Sovereignty Council for the trust he has placed in us at this stage that Sudan is going through, stressing his keenness to make efforts to promote and develop cooperation relations with Senegal and Somalia.” Al-Naeem added.
