The Khartoum State Government and the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization expres

The Khartoum State Government and the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization expressed their readiness to work together to return industrial and productive activities to the state again, in light of the stability witnessed by a number of localities.
The meeting held by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, with the Director of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization, Dr. Ali Al-Tamasini Hamad, and his assistants, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Khartoum State Government, Al-Hadi Abdel-Sayed, stressed the need to raise the levels of coordination between the state and the organization to ensure the control of the quality of consumer goods displayed in the state’s markets according to international standards for the production of goods, taking into account the economic situation of traders and their loss of a lot of money that was looted by the Rapid Support gangs.
The Governor welcomed the return of the Authority’s activity in the state, stressing that his government is working to encourage business owners and citizens to engage in commercial activities and voluntary return, especially since the state is witnessing stability and great openness in all combat axes thanks to the bravery of the armed forces and the forces participating in the Battle of Dignity, in addition to providing services. He explained that the state’s agencies enter the areas that are being cleared after the security situation stabilizes to restore services.
While the Secretary-General of the State Government, Al-Hadi Abdel-Sayed, pointed to the challenges facing the state government, including the return of state institutions to provide their services to citizens, and expressed the state’s readiness to cooperate with everyone to return any activity that serves the citizen.
For his part, the Director of the Khartoum State Standards and Metrology Authority branch expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the state government to rebuild what was destroyed by the war, until the state became a destination for the return of citizens and state institutions.
He added that the SSMO is one of the links in protecting the consumer from commercial and industrial fraud and from the entry of spoiled goods that do not conform to specifications.
He also announced the SSMO commitment to supporting the state’s efforts in reconstruction and normalizing civil life. He revealed the SSMO’s support for the success of the Sudanese Certificate exams by providing meals for 500 male and female students and 100 teachers, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in the state.
