Deputy Headv of the Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayee, stressed the importance of unifying internal and external political discourse and national alignment to support national issues.

During his meeting with the Minister of Culture and Information and the official spokesman for the government, Khalid Al-Eiser, in his office in Port Sudan today, His Excellency affirmed his support for the programs and activities of the Ministry, pledging to overcome all obstacles and challenges facing it to carry out its role and implement the proposed programs and implement them on the ground.
For his part, the Minister of Culture and Information explained that he informed the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council about the performance of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the work plan in the context of development and keeping pace with the current developments, especially in the Battle of Dignity.
His Excellency reviewed the systematic destruction that befell the media institutions by the rebel militia, which aims to stifle the Sudanese nation and obscure the media vision by an external plan targeting the destruction of Sudan, the seizure of power, and the dispersion and displacement of the Sudanese people. Al-Eiser pointed out that the media was at the top of the strategic targets that the militia sought to destroy, pointing to the destruction and devastation it caused to the media institutions and private and public radio and television stations, stressing that the current stage is a major challenge to build and establish these institutions.
The Minister stated that he informed the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council of the media plan to revive media work and establish new institutions that keep pace with the war of dignity to support and back the armed forces and support the Sudanese people in this ordeal they are going through.
His Excellency expressed, on behalf of the employees of the Ministry of Culture and Information, their thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Head of the Council for media issues, pledging to work diligently and continuously until the media institutions return to their former glory.
