Al-Burhan Heads to Cairo

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, headed to Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt, today. In response to an invitation from Egyptian President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi, to participate in the World Urban Forum,
which is organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Program and is attended by a number of heads of state and government.
He was seen off at Port Sudan Airport by the member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdullah Yahya, and the Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Gali Ali Youssef.
Head of the Sovereignty Council is accompanied on his visit to Egypt by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
