Deputy Head of the TSC reviews the performance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments

Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Aqar Ayre, reviewed the performance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments and the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah during the past period.
His Excellency, during his meeting in his office in Port Sudan today with the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Osama Hassan Muhammad, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah, Mr. Sami Al-Rashid, stressed the need to communicate with the official authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to facilitate and ease the procedures prelated to proving ownership of Sudanese endowments or extracting lost replacement deeds to obtain the compensation for the endowments that were removed during the previous period, amounting to seven endowments in Medina, Jeddah and Makkah.
His Excellency received a full briefing on the arrangements and special preparations for the Hajj season for the year 1446 H, as well as the results of the Council’s delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for further coordination and cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure the success of the upcoming Hajj season.
For his part, the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments said in a press statement that the meeting discussed the ministry’s performance during the previous period, especially endowments and procedures related to following up and developing Sudanese endowments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Excellency added that the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council received a detailed explanation of the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah’s preparations for the Hajj season for the year 1446H.
