Aqar meets with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, MalikbAqar Ayre, received in his office in Port Sudan, today, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Mohamed Hassan Dahab, and a number of Sudanese university Vice-chancellors.

During the meeting, His Excellency received an enlightenment about the performance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the results of the Minister’s recent visit to Libya.

Aqar received the final statement of the Education Forum, which was held under his patronage on the tenth of October.

For his part, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in a press statement after the meeting that the delegation submitted a full report on the performance of the Sudanese ministry and universities during the last period, and the recommendations of the Higher Education Initiative to resolve the Sudanese crisis.

For his part, Professor Dahab indicated that the meeting also touched on the results of his visit to Libya, which came at the invitation of the Libyan Minister of Higher Education, explaining that the visit achieved its desired goals in achieving the interests of the Sudanese students in Libya and addressing their issues.
