Al-Burhan meets defectors from the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan met today with a group of defectors from the terrorist RSF militia, headed by Dr. Abdul Qader Ibrahim Ali.

The meeting discussed the violations and atrocities committed by this militia against innocent civilians in various parts of Sudan.

Dr. Abdul Qader said in a press statement that this group’s joining the national ranks came out of a firm conviction, stressing their standing with the armed forces in one trench, adding, “Through the stance we have taken, we have disavowed the rebel Rapid Support Militia.”,
referring to the series of crimes it committed against the Sudanese people, which constitute clear war crimes, calling for the necessity of bringing the perpetrators of these crimes to international courts.

He pointed out to the great sacrifices that the armed forces, other regular forces and mobilized forces to crush the rebels.

Dr. Abdul Qader called on all those who stand with the rebellion to side with the homeland’s choice, adding that the door is still open for them to disavow the actions of this terrorist militia.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Wad Abuk said that this splinter group from the militia sided with the state and its institutions out of conviction, stressing that the current aggression against the country threatens the entity of Sudanese society and the future of the Sudanese state.

He indicated that any attempt to tear apart the armed forces institution is an attempt to strike the state and its established institutions and target the security and stability of the homeland.

He pointed out the regional and international challenges facing Sudan, which require solidarity and cooperation among all the sons of the homeland.
