Two British MPs urge the Prime Minister to intervene with the UAE to stop the expected RSF attack on El Obeid

British MP Monica Harding said that she and her colleague Edward Davie had urgently written to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, “urging him to use his final days in office to engage directly with the United Arab Emirates, the main backer of the Rapid Support Forces, to stop the imminent violence.”

The MP added in a tweet posted on her X account yesterday (Thursday) that “Britain must use its full influence to prevent the imminent attack on El Obeid and protect the lives of thousands.”
