Minawi: We fully welcome the condemnations issued by international organizations and await further steps

In exclusive statements, Commander Minni Arko Minnawi, Governor of Darfur and head of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, said that the reports published in recent days calling for investigations into militia violations in Darfur, and El Fasher in particular, after obtaining sufficient evidence, and the international condemnations issued in recent days by highly credible international organizations known in international circles, such as Amnesty International and the Human Rights Council, culminating in the report of the UN Fact-Finding Mission on Sudan, in which Mohamed Chande stated there were “clear indications of genocide, torture, imprisonment, enforced disappearances, and abuse,” which was released last Wednesday.
Yesterday, Thursday, the European Parliament voted by a majority to classify the militia as a terrorist organization. We commend and welcome this, and after all these damning condemnations, we call on the relevant authorities to take action and make their decision without any procrastination or delay by placing the Rapid Support Forces, as well as every founding group and those who support it, among the terrorist organizations, as well as those who support it, so that the hands of criminals and their supporters are tied throughout the world, and every criminal finds the result of his practices, and the rights of the innocent are not lost.
