Talks Between the Ministry of Human Resources and the Internal Audit Bureau to Strengthen Coordination Among Ministry Units

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Dr. Abubakr Koko Dahiya, held a meeting on Thursday with the Director General of the Internal Audit Bureau, the Director General of the Accounts Bureau, and the Director General of the Civil Service Affairs Bureau.
The meeting discussed issues related to enhancing coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and its affiliated units, as well as with the three bureaus. Discussions focused on improving the work environment, strengthening institutional coordination, maximizing the utilization of human resources, and enhancing the capacities of public sector employees to keep pace with current developments.
Dr. Dahiya reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to building the capacities of the workforce by linking training programs with digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
He stressed the importance of investing in human capital and social engineering as key drivers for advancing state institutions, emphasizing the need for integrated roles among government institutions and coordinated teamwork, particularly as modern public administration increasingly relies on advanced technologies and contemporary management tools.
For her part, the Director General of the Internal Audit Bureau, Dr. Hajar Mohamed Ahmed, commended the Ministry’s efforts and services provided to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable communities. She also reaffirmed the Bureau’s commitment to helping bridge institutional gaps across state institutions.
