A delegation from SFPA concludes visit to River Nile State.

A delegation from the Sudanese Family Planning Association, headed by Executive Director Al-Shafi’i Muhammad Ali, concluded a three-day supervisory and monitoring visit to the River Nile State branch.
Executive Director of the Association in River Nile State, Ms.Kawthar Muhammad Ibrahim, said that the visit was fruitful and constructive.
The delegation reviewed the performance and key achievements, identified the main challenges, and commended the services provided to the target groups throughout the state at various levels, despite the challenges, and called for their enhancement.
Ms. Rehab Hamadto, Director of Programs at the River Nile State branch of the association, stated that the visit of the association’s leadership delegation to the state differed from previous visits because it focused on governance and compliance issues across 43 different cases covering all of the association’s programs and activities. She noted that the review process was highly transparent, and the supervisory delegation was reassured that the River Nile State branch is committed to adhering to the association’s policies and regulations.
She added that the delegation came away with a number of positive outcomes and offered several observations and recommendations to support the association’s work in the state.
The leadership delegation also promised to repeat visits to the branch, given that the state has become the association’s headquarters after Khartoum. The aim is to further discuss the most effective ways to improve performance, especially since the state is expected to serve as a model for other branches in the states, due to its stability and its existing capabilities in this area.
