Higher Education Minister Commends Academic Stability at Ibn Sina University

Professor Ahmed Mudawi, Sudan’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, praised the academic stability and resumption of educational activities at Ibn Sina University in Khartoum State, describing it as a major achievement that reflects strong determination and a clear future vision.
During an inspection visit to the university’s main campus in Al-Jereif West, the Minister commended the university’s efforts in reconstruction, rehabilitation, and the restoration of academic activities. He noted that Ibn Sina University was among the first institutions to resume studies from its original campus and adhere to the Ministry’s return program.
The Minister expressed satisfaction with the university’s modern classrooms, laboratories, workshops, anatomy facilities, administrative offices, and student services, confirming its readiness to receive students and faculty members. He emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards and advancing higher education to support national development and prepare qualified professionals for the future.
The visit formed part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to monitor the rehabilitation of higher education institutions and ensure the continuity and stability of academic activities across Sudan.
