Farini Discusses Strengthening Partnership and Activating Joint Programs with the Regional Network

Director General of the Ministry of Social Development in Khartoum State and Acting Minister, Siddiq Hassan Farini, met with Ahmed Al-Mansouri, Deputy Director of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, and Dr. Othman Ismail Othman, Director of Al-Shaab Teaching Hospital.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Doaa Ibrahim, Secretary of the Social Responsibility Council at the Ministry, and Dr. Ibtihaj Taha, Director of the Partnerships Department.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Social Development and the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, as well as mechanisms for activating joint programs between the two sides. Participants reviewed previously implemented initiatives, ongoing programs, and future plans, with particular emphasis on training and capacity-building programs.

Farini welcomed the Regional Network and stressed the importance of coordinating plans, programs, and activities between the Ministry and the Network. He also called for mobilizing the community and encouraging philanthropists and business leaders to adopt and support community initiatives.

For his part, Ahmed Al-Mansouri affirmed the Network’s commitment to working alongside the Social Responsibility Council to achieve the objectives of social responsibility across the state. He also expressed the Network’s readiness to support the success of all programs and initiatives in cooperation with the Ministry.

In a related development, participants listened to a report on the efforts to rehabilitate Al-Shaab Teaching Hospital and the steps that have been taken so far under the New Construction Initiative.
