SAPA Launches Eid Sacrifice Initiative for Sudanese Displaced Families and Refugees in Neighboring Countries

SAPA has announced the completion of all technical and logistical preparations for the launch of its “Food Assistance and Qurbani Project for 1447 AH,” aimed at extending support and bringing joy to the most vulnerable families, internally displaced persons, and Sudanese refugees in neighboring countries.

This year’s project will be implemented through three main tracks during the Eid holidays: Sudan, Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad, and Uganda.

Within Sudan, the project targets support for thousands of displaced and conflict-affected families in the states of North Darfur, West Darfur, Northern State, Kassala, North Kordofan, in addition to the capital, Khartoum.

As part of the broader humanitarian response to the refugee crisis, the initiative will also reach the Adré refugee camp in eastern Chad, as well as refugee settlements in Uganda, supporting thousands of Sudanese families who fled violence and now face extremely difficult living conditions.
