PM: Intensive Efforts to Unify Cultural and Media Efforts to Support Sudan and Expose Violations

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met today with a delegation from the Arab Forum for Multiculturalism in Britain. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities, and Tourism, Mr. Khalid Al-Eisir; the Advisor and Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Nizar Abdullah; the Ambassador and Director of the Media Department at the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Jamal Malik; and the Chargé d’Affaires at the Sudanese Embassy in London, Ambassador Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq.

The delegation from the Executive Committee of the Arab Forum for Multiculturalism in Britain included Dr. Ramadan Bin Zir; journalist Ali Al-Hajj Hussein, Vice President of the Forum; visual artist Iman Al-Fazani; journalist Youssef Azizi, a member of the Forum’s administration; journalist Fayez Sara; and Mr. Rateb Al-Sulaiman, recently elected to the British local councils representing the Green Party.

It is worth noting that the Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities, and Tourism, Mr. Khaled Al-Eisir, is a long-standing member of the Arab Forum for Cultural Pluralism, having served for many years as its Cultural and Media Secretary, and he remains an active member.

The meeting explored ways to enhance joint cooperation in the cultural, media, and intellectual fields, contributing to the preservation of Arab cultural identity and supporting the Sudanese people in the face of the violations and transgressions they are experiencing.

Both sides emphasized the importance of unifying Arab cultural and media efforts to highlight the true situation in Sudan and strengthen Arab solidarity with the Sudanese people during this critical period.
