Joint Forces Spokesperson: All Our Movements Are in Full Coordination with the Armed Forces

The official spokesperson for the Joint Forces, Mutawakkil Ali Wakil, denied reports of Joint Forces bases within the capital, Khartoum.

Wakil stated that their forces are currently outside Khartoum, stationed on the front lines in Kordofan and the desert, adding that the force that arrived in Khartoum did so with the knowledge and coordination of the Command and Control and the Armed Forces, emphasizing that the Joint Forces are not currently inside the city.

He indicated that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia is currently engaged in disseminating biased media propaganda and malicious rumors through closed channels, with the support of certain forces, including the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC), with the aim of influencing the overall situation. He emphasized that the joint forces operate in complete harmony and coordination with the Armed Forces, and that all their movements are conducted according to directives and instructions issued by the state’s command and control center.

He affirmed that the RSF militias have failed to achieve any victories on the Kordofan, North Darfur, and Al-Tina fronts, and that they are attempting to transform this failure into a state of confusion through rumors to sow discord between the Armed Forces and the joint forces. He stressed that these attempts will not succeed.

Wakil affirmed that the joint forces stand with the Armed Forces and all supporting forces “as one,” in a state of cohesion and unity, with the goal of liberating the remaining areas of Kordofan and Darfur. He also indicated that the defection of the RSF commander, Al-Nur Al-Qubba, is one of the reasons for the escalation of these rumors, due to the void and decline his departure has created within their ranks.

He concluded his statement by emphasizing that the joint forces are too important to be drawn into sedition, intrigue, and conspiracies.
