Head of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, issued a decree appointing the following Assistants to the Commander-in-Chief:

Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabbashi Ibrahim Shanto (Assistant for Construction and Strategic Planning)

Lieutenant General Mirghani Idris Suleiman Idris (Assistant for Military Industries)

Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim Karima (Assistant for International Relations and Military Cooperation)

Effective April 2, 2026.
