NMSF Launches a Pharmaceutical Convoy to the Blue Nile Region Carrying 60 Tons of Medicines

The National Medical Supplies Fund (NMSF) inaugurated a pharmaceutical convoy to the Blue Nile region on Saturday, carrying 60 tons of emergency medicines and medical consumables under the patronage of the Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, and the supervision of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Ali Babiker.

The convoy, which set off from the medical supply buildings, contained 60 tons of medicines and medical consumables, in addition to malaria medicines and the territory’s quota. Addressing the inauguration of the convoy, the Undersecretary praised the role of the National Medical Supplies Fund in supporting the stability of the pharmaceutical supply in the country

For her part, Dr. Inam Dablouk, Director General of the National Medical Supplies Fund, confirmed that the convoy comes within the framework of enhancing the stability of the pharmaceutical supply, noting that the country is witnessing an abundance of medicines and medical supplies during the current period, it is important to mention that the convoy includes emergency medicines and medical consumables.
