IGAD hosts consultations on the Horn of Africa Gateway initiative

To connect communities, expand trade, and create jobs in border regions, IGAD hosted Ethiopian-Kenyan consultations on the Horn of Africa Gateway project.

The IGAD Executive Secretary, Workneh Gebeyehu, hosted Mandera County Governor Mohammed Khalifa and Kenyan Ambassador to Ethiopia Galma Boro.
The meeting discussed the situation in border regions and sustainable development within the framework of the Horn of Africa Gateway initiative.
