Federal Undersecretary of Health Directs Strengthening of Interventions to Combat Dengue in Kabouchea

The Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Ali Babiker Sayed Ahmed, visited Kabouchea Hospital in the Nile River State, where he reviewed the health conditions in the locality, noting the stability of these conditions. He directed the state government to increase health interventions, stressing the continuation of control campaigns and the availability of medical supplies, with federal support to reduce infections and provide additional aid and health staff to the hospital.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in the state, Dr. Majida Abdullah, expressed her appreciation for this visit, which also included the localities of Shendi and Al-Matma, accompanied by the Minister of Health in the state and the executive directors. Campaigns to combat dengue fever were launched and will continue periodically

She stressed the ministry’s commitment to addressing the shortcomings and providing the necessary support, praising the assistance of the state government and the federal Ministry of Health, and calling on citizens to actively participate in the control efforts to limit the spread of the disease.
