Approval of the Alternative Exam for Sudanese Refugee Certificate Students in Eastern Chad

The Governor of West Darfur, General Bahar Karama, announced the adoption of the alternative exam for Sudanese refugee certificate students in Eastern Chad among the registered students from the state, whose total number exceeds 7,000 students. He stated in a press release that the adoption of the alternative exam guarantees refugee students their full right to education without delay or discrimination.

Karama stressed that coordination with the Ministry of Education will continue to be excellent to ensure that the exams are held in an organized and fair environment for the students of the state within safe areas. The Governor of West Darfur vowed not to allow the rights of the students of the state to be lost, adding, “We will not allow them to be lost.”
