Khartoum State Security Committee Reviews Results of Operations Carried Out by All Forces to Secure the State

The Khartoum State Security Committee, in its meeting today chaired by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, reviewed a number of reports related to securing the 2026 secondary school certificate examinations and the flow of petroleum products. The meeting also reviewed the efforts of the joint security patrol in arresting a number of violators, criminals, and seizing weapons and drugs. The security patrol in Block 102 achieved positive results, recovering a quantity of stolen goods, including spare parts and various devices. The campaigns also resulted in the arrest of a number of undocumented foreigners.

Regarding the criminal situation, the report indicated a decrease in crime rates and traffic violations compared to last week. A number of vehicles with discrepancies in their official documents were impounded.

In this context, the Khartoum State Security Authority carried out a number of operations that resulted in the arrest of several collaborators, including a criminal gang that had been terrorizing citizens in southern Khartoum. The security cell also conducted 50 operations, resulting in the arrest of 211 individuals accused of collaborating with the enemy and the seizure of weapons and vehicles. The committee decided to support the Anti-Narcotics Department in the next phase.

The committee also warned citizens against burning waste, which can cause explosions of grenades and other hazards.
