Agar: Government Ready to Cooperate with the UN and its Mechanisms

On Friday evening, Agar provided the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Sudan, Pekka Hennisto, with a comprehensive briefing on the current situation in the country. He outlined the government’s efforts and its strategy to enhance opportunities for peace and stability, thereby fulfilling the Sudanese people’s aspirations for security and development.
Agar affirmed the Sudanese government’s full readiness to cooperate with UN agencies and to develop joint work in various humanitarian and development fields, contributing to the peace process and achieving sustainable stability in the country.
