Minister of Human Resources and Social Development inaugurates the Ramadan program to support families

Within the framework of the field program for the holy month of Ramadan, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Motasem Mohamed Saleh from White Nile State continued the journey of giving for the year 1447 AH. Under the presidency of the Zakat Bureau, he launched a Ramadan intervention package at a cost of EGP 5 billion, targeting 37,000 families through the programs of the joy of fasting, the joy of Eid, support for needy families, the release of inmates, support for prisons, and the war effort.
Thirty-seven inmates were released from the state’s prisons, and the solar energy project for water stations in prisons was supported to ensure the sustainability of the supply of clean water, in a step that combines the human dimension with the improvement of the service infrastructure.
As part of the Ministry’s plan for the year 2026 for the National Health Insurance Fund, the Minister inaugurated the Tijani Mohamed Khair Model Center in Kosti after it was fully rehabilitated and equipped with modern devices and equipment. Additionally, a psychological support clinic was inaugurated to treat cases of trauma and the psychological effects of war, especially since the state hosts more than 270,000 displaced families from Darfur and Kordofan.
Salih participated with Lieutenant General Qamar al-Din Mohammed Fadl al-Mawla, the governor of the state, in the inauguration of the Ramadan basket for the families of the martyrs provided by the Union of Private Schools. We also observed the state government’s basket for public sector workers, which included 35,000 Ramadan baskets, in a picture that reflects the integration of roles between the government and society.
