Minister of Energy Meets with Governor of West Kordofan

Minister of Energy, Engineer Al-Mu’tasim Ibrahim Ahmed, met with the Governor of West Kordofan State, Mohamed Adam Mohamed. The meeting addressed the situation in the state resulting from the war, and discussed the humanitarian conditions faced by citizens displaced in various locations, emphasizing their need for support and care.

The Minister of Energy offered his condolences for the martyrs, affirming the Armed Forces’ ability to liberate all of Sudan, God willing. He also clarified the status of the oil fields in the state and reiterated his support for West Kordofan during these challenging times.

The Governor of West Kordofan stated that the state’s citizens are experiencing dire humanitarian conditions in displacement camps, and that the state government faces significant challenges in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities towards its citizens, necessitating federal support for the state.
