The Technical Committee for the Prevention of Illegal Collection continues its tours in the states

The Technical Committee for the Prevention of Illegal Collection, headed by General Counselor Mohamed Haj Adam Hassan Al-Taher, started inspection tours today at the collection points along the national road in the Nile River and Northern states.
The committee’s tour of the northern sector includes all the points on the national road of the two states, extending to include the Arqin and Ashket crossings.
The head of the committee, Maulana Mohammad Haj Adam, stated that the tour is part of ongoing field visits to the northern sector after the committee completed its tour of the eastern sector, which included the states of the Red Sea, Kassala, and Gedaref.
Maulana confirmed that the committee will assess the collection procedures followed on the ground and take the necessary notes on some collection points and security pillars, which will be included in the committee’s report and work on issuing directives for treatment.
He pointed out that the purpose of the tour is to prevent obstruction of traffic on the national road, avoid encroachments, remove intersections related to federal and state legislation, and work on reviewing fees.
The committee includes representatives from the Ministry of Finance and Justice, the General Intelligence Service, Military Intelligence, the Police, the Federal Government, the Bureau of Accounts, and the Employers’ Union.
