Minnawi Emphasizes a Key Condition for Achieving Stability in Darfur

In the context of monitoring field developments in the Darfur region, Governor Minni Arko Minnawi confirmed that he was reassured about the readiness of the mobilized forces and the level of coordination between the various forces, during his meeting with the High Committee for Mobilization and Recruitment in the region.

He indicated that the meeting reflected – as he put it – a state of field harmony and high readiness to confront security challenges.

In a post published on his Facebook page, Minnawi expressed his pride in what he described as the victories achieved by the army, the joint force, and the mobilized forces, considering these gains an important step towards restoring security.

He stressed that the unity of the home front remains a key condition for achieving stability in Darfur and the country in general, calling for cohesion and prioritizing the national interest.
