Minister of Human Resources from Durdeeb: We fight poverty with productive projects and support citizens with health services

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutasem Ahmed Saleh, confirmed that the ministry will continue to fight poverty by implementing productive projects for the poor and the most vulnerable groups. A group of projects implemented by the ministry was inaugurated in the locality of Durdeeb in the Red Sea state, including the health insurance center in Dardeeb, owning projects for the poor through the Zakat Bureau, delivering direct cash support through the Poverty Reduction Commission, and distributing food baskets. Saleh confirmed the ministry’s intention to provide support to 2,995 beneficiaries from the poorest segments as of this year.

He announced the addition of an integrated dental clinic to the Dardeeb Health Center, in addition to providing study opportunities for pharmacy, nursing, laboratories, and midwifery for Durdeeb’s children.

The Governor of the Red Sea, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, assured that electricity will be opened in the localities of Durdeeb and Haya soon.
