HAC Commissioner Launches Aid Convoy to River Nile, Blue Nile, White Nile, and North Kordofan States

The Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid Commission, Salwa Adam Benya, launched a convoy of food and shelter aid to four states: River Nile, Blue Nile, White Nile, and North Kordofan.
Benya stated that the convoy contains 1,000 tons of flour (20 trucks), food supplies, and tents (8 trucks).
The Commissioner confirmed that the convoy is funded by the Sudanese government through the Federal Ministry of Finance. Salwa Adam Benya revealed the great need for more aid due to the large displacement, especially from the Kordofan states.
The Commissioner expressed her appreciation and gratitude to friendly and brotherly countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Turkey for their continued support since the beginning of the war.
She affirmed the government’s readiness to meet the needs of the displaced and provide them with assistance to the best of its ability.
