Al-Burhan Visits Minerals Towers as Preparations Underway for Full Resumption of Government Operations in Khartoum

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, made a surprise visit on Monday to the headquarters of the federal ministries in the Minerals Towers in the Al-Mujahideen district of Khartoum.

He reviewed preparations for the official resumption of government operations in the capital by inspecting the temporary headquarters of several ministries.

He commended the efforts of the staff and emphasized the importance of restoring the vitality of state institutions from their main headquarters in Khartoum.

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Mohamed Tahir Omar, provided the Al-Burhan with a comprehensive briefing on the readiness of the headquarters for operation, the technical and administrative procedures that have been completed, and the ministries’ readiness to relocate to their designated locations.

The visit is part of the preliminary measures to ensure a safe and effective return of all federal entities, within the framework of stabilizing the situation and enhancing the provision of services to citizens.
