Agar Meets with Leaders of the Press and Media Sector

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar, met yesterday evening with leaders of the press and media sector in Sudan. The meeting was held at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture and Information, and was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Dr. Graham Abdel Qader.

This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening the media’s role in cooperation between the government and media outlets. The aim is to highlight the state’s capabilities and unify efforts to end the war in Sudan, especially as the country is waging a war for survival and resisting occupation.

Agar urged journalists and media professionals to organize themselves and unify their voice through official journalists’ bodies. He emphasized the need to unleash their potential to defend the country and serve the national agenda.
