A meeting between the Minister of Human Resources and the Federal Minister of Health to strengthen health services

A meeting was held between the Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutasem Ahmed Saleh, and the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two ministries in the field of providing health services to citizens and health insurance card holders by activating coordination work through technical committees in Social Security Hospitals, especially Meroa Medical City.

The meeting stressed the need to work together and continue to provide services free of charge to the injured and wounded from the battle of Al-Karama.

The Minister pointed to the need to open up to international organizations for health and social support, urging the Ministry of Finance to increase funding for the year 2026, especially for the treatment of diseases in children with cancer, tumors, and kidney issues due to war.
