From El Fasher to Al Dabba .. a journey of a nation that never loses its way

In a scene that embodies both the pain and resilience of the Sudanese spirit General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan Commander in Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces spoke on platform ( X ) about the tragedy of thousands of citizens displaced from El Fasher Bara and En Nahud by militia forces Yet the remarkable truth is that these displaced families did not choose the shorter safer road to Nyala or Al Fula They instead chose to walk the long and challenging path northward toward Al Dabba and areas under state control a journey that stretched for more than eight hundred kilometers filled with suffering and hope
It was a passage through the desert of hardship where women children and the elderly traveled for days under the burning sun carrying what little they had left on donkey carts or worn trucks leaving behind the homes of childhood the lands of their ancestors and the dreams of their hearts Yet their eyes reflected determination and faith for the distance they crossed was more than geography it was a journey away from fear and toward the true homeland
Along the road they faced hunger thirst and the absence of medicine but they found hope in the warm welcome of people living in safe zones where the state and its institutions provided essential aid and the Sudanese Armed Forces received exhausted families with protection dignity and genuine compassion In this embrace the meaning of the nation was renewed proving that the state stands firm no matter how long the path and that the army never abandons its people
Despite its harshness this displacement carried a message of awareness and trust for when Sudanese citizens choose to walk thousands of kilometers toward state held areas they are declaring to the world that they know where their homeland lies who defends it and who seeks to steal it
What is happening today is not merely a military confrontation but a struggle for awareness and belonging and the Sudanese people have chosen to belong to their nation and to stand with their army because they know that the army is not separate from the people it is their son their protector and their shield
To the people of El Fasher and all of Darfur your pain will not last and your return is certain by the will of God you will return to your land with dignity and honor your cities will rise again through the hands of their loyal sons for the bond between the army and the people is not a slogan it is a covenant written with sacrifice patience and faith one army one people a living truth that flows in every Sudanese heart confident that Sudan will rise stronger more united and more proud .
