PM Issues Decision to Reduce Passport Fees for Sudanese Abroad

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris issued a decision to reduce passport issuance and renewal fees for Sudanese abroad by 30%. This decision is part of government policies aimed at alleviating the burden on Sudanese abroad and encouraging voluntary return.

The decision clarified that the reduction will be effective from November 1 to December 31, 2025, directing the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to implement the decision through Sudan’s diplomatic and consular missions in various countries.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this step comes in appreciation of the efforts of Sudanese expatriates and to alleviate their suffering, in addition to supporting voluntary return programs and contributing to the building and stability of the nation.
