Vector control operations continue in four states

Vector control operations, especially those targeting dengue and malaria, continue in the states of the Gezira State (all localities), White Nile, Al-Qatina, and Tandlti, as well as in the localities of Sennar, Sinja , and Al-Gedaref, specifically targeting the municipality of Gedaref in the center of Al-Gedaref, in addition to the Al-Faw locality.

The Director of Vector Control at the Federal Ministry of Health, Hamza Sami Al-Jak, stated in a press statement that the campaign is proceeding as required, having entered its fifth day across all axes of vector control interventions, particularly the home inspection axis, which focuses on treating mosquito breeding in water storage containers inside homes and in all institutions, as this axis is the foundation of control.
