Minnawi: Thank you, our people in the Northern State of El Fasher, for your tons of humanity, love, goodness, and the long desired national unity.

This is my message on behalf of all the people of Darfur, El Fasher, and Sudan. The project to support El Fasher with dates from our people in the Northern State has been transformed by your young efforts, will, determination, and sincere intentions into tons of food, love, goodness, and your well-known spirit of solidarity.

God willing, it will also transform into healing for the injured and wounded.

My words and pen are incapable of expressing my gratitude to each and every member of the committee, the officials, and all my family—my mothers, sisters, and daughters, my fathers, brothers, and sons. To you, I extend my deepest thanks and gratitude.
