Al-Burhan and Al-Sisi hold a bilateral discussion session at Al-Ittihadiya Palace

Head of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, today for an official visit.
He was received at Al-Ittihadiya Palace by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and they held a joint discussion session.
The discussions reviewed the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, as well as developments in Sudan and issues of mutual interest.
The discussions emphasized the depth and strength of the long-standing relations between the two countries and the importance of consolidating, strengthening, and advancing them to achieve the common interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
Al-Burhan is accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohieddin Salem Ahmed, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal.
