Karama condemns the appointment of Salah Al-Nour as the head of the judiciary

The Deputy Governor of the Darfur Region and the Governor of West Darfur, General Bahr al-Din Adam Karama, denounced the appointment of a lawyer in training, Salahuddin al-Nur, as the head of the judiciary in West Darfur by the head of the civil authority of West Darfur in the so-called establishment government, who is known for his loyalty to the rebel Hemedti and his work as an advisor to him. The governor of West Darfur said that Salah’s appointment was a new stain that exposed the absurdity of cheap political stunts targeting state institutions.

He added in limited press statements today, “How can someone whose reputation has been tarnished by his famous quote with the criminal Moussa Ambello: ‘Burn down the kiyons – shelters for displaced people in West Darfur and kill those in them’?”

What happened is not a creation or alignment with justice, but rather a miserable absurd play aimed at falsifying the true face of justice and falsifying people’s consciousness with empty slogans that do not stand up to the facts.

These appointments expose the lurking and revenge against the people, and confirm the falsity of the slogans of the rebels who trade in the suffering of civilians and the blood of the victims, while committing the most heinous crimes against the innocent.

Karama asks how it is reasonable for a person accused of burying people alive, killing and displacing them, who is one of the criminal prosecutions, to head the justice institution.
