Egyptian Foreign Minister: We are coordinating with Saudi Arabia to quickly end the war in Sudan

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty confirmed that there are significant Egyptian-Saudi efforts through the Quadripartite Mechanism to stop the war in Sudan as quickly as possible, in coordination with the United States and the UAE.

During a press conference with Maldives Foreign Minister Abdulla Khalil on Saturday, Abdel Aty said that Egypt is primarily concerned with Sudan and is working to quickly reach a humanitarian ceasefire. He indicated Egypt’s full support for the Sudanese state and the Sudanese military establishment.
