Defense Industries System Responds to Appeals of Sudanese Communities in Kuwait and Bahrain

The Defense Industries System continued its humanitarian role in resolving the problems of Sudanese communities and supporting voluntary return programs to the country.

The Defense Industries System, headed by Director General Lieutenant General Mirghani Idris, responded to the appeal of the Sudanese community in Kuwait and Bahrain, following their sponsorship of the voluntary return project in the Sultanate of Oman and the operation of travel buses and trains from Egypt to Sudan.

The Sudanese communities in Kuwait and Bahrain had appealed to the Sudanese authorities to resolve the problems of obtaining identity and immigration documents by sending missions to those countries.

It’s worth noting that the Defense Industries System has fully embraced the voluntary return project for Sudanese from Egypt to Sudan, repatriating more than 410,000 people. This comes amid an increasing number of people registered for the voluntary return project, organized by the Defense Industries System via trains from Cairo to Aswan, operating three weekly flights.

The system also organized an air bridge for the return of Sudanese from the Sultanate of Oman, repatriating more than 1,500 citizens on 12 flights.
