Al-Burhan approves the results of the 2024 Sudanese Certificate Examinations
Head of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, approved the results of the postponed 2024 Sudanese Certificate Examinations, after they were presented to him by the Minister of Education. The approval came amid the exceptional circumstances the country is experiencing, amid widespread praise for the national efforts that have contributed to the success of the educational process despite the challenges of war.
Praise for the role of teachers and the stability of the educational process
During his meeting with the Minister of National Education, Al-Burhan praised the significant role played by teachers in ensuring the stability of the school year and the implementation of exams despite the difficulties. He emphasized that the success of the educational process represents a victory for the national will and the ability of state institutions to withstand and continue performing their duties.
Appreciation for Security Services in Securing Examinations
Al-Burhan praised the great efforts made by the armed forces and other regular forces in securing examination centers and facilitating students’ access to their seats. He noted that this cooperation between government agencies set a model for joint national action to protect the educational process.

For his part, the Minister of Education presented a comprehensive report to the Head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council on the progress of the examinations, the number of students taking the exams, and the examination centers, in addition to the overall success rate and the academic, technical, and religious distribution. He emphasized that the results reflected great commitment and discipline from students despite the challenges.
