Sinja Hospital’s losses exceed $3 million, and health insurance continues to support the facility

The Director General of Sinja Teaching Hospital, Dr. Abdullah Al-Abawabi, said that the hospital’s losses due to the war exceeded $3 million. He assured that the hospital entered the recovery phase after the liberation of the city of Sinja by the armed forces, providing devices and equipment. He attributed this step to the cooperation and solidarity of health partners, foremost of which is the National Health Insurance Fund, the state government, and citizens. He continued, “We started the reconstruction from scratch, and we are moving at a rapid pace in recovery.”

Dr. Al-Abawabi confirmed the return of medical staff and hospitalization operations at the hospital. He described health insurance as a strategic partner of the Ministry of Health in the state and the hospital, and unveiled the continued support of health insurance for the hospital, saying: “Whenever we knock on the doors of health insurance, we find the first supporters and supporters.”

Dr. Al-Abwabi said that the health insurance supported the hospital with a full cesarean section last week.
