The Minister of Higher Education praises the efforts of Ibn Sina University to continue studies

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Mudawi Musa, praised the great efforts made by the administration of Ibn Sina University and its professors to reconstruct the university and return to its headquarters in Khartoum after the destruction of Sudanese higher education institutions by the rebel Rapid Support Militia.

During his visit with his accompanying delegation to the university’s headquarters in Khartoum, he inspected the faculties, departments, laboratories, and classrooms, and addressed the students. He pointed out that the destruction that has affected the country will be prolonged by the determination of the leadership and the loyal citizens of the country and their concerted efforts at this time in order to complete the construction and reconstruction. He praised the role of students and their strong desire to continue the educational process in person despite these difficult circumstances, explaining that e-learning is a supporting tool for the traditional educational process, and not a complete substitute for it.

He pointed out that the renaissance and development of higher education at this stage depends on the axes of the Ministry’s plan in reconstruction, sustainable development, and attention to scientific research, quality and technical education, and concluded his speech by praising the martyrs of the homeland in the battle of dignity, and praised the standing and participation of students with the armed forces and other regular forces, and then their contribution to reconstruction through initiatives.
